In 2019, shortly after getting married, my wife and I decieded we needed a change in senery. So we packed up all of our stuff and made a 2000 mile journey to move from Florida to Utah.

One thing we didnt have when we moved to Utah was a 4x4 for getting around on those bad winter days. So in those first 6 months before our first winter, we bought a 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ with a blown engine to rebuild. 

This created a problem us Jeep guys are all too fimaliar with, which is a build that quickly spiraled out of control. It's become what I'm calling a continuosly evolving W.A.R. (Wrenching, Adventuring, Rockcrawling) build. A never ending cycle!

One day I was talking with my dad while I was showing him the latest mods on the 'ol XJ. During that conversation he suggested I try and share my build on YouTube. I was constantly using YouTube as my primary source of tips and tricks on niche issues I was having. So I decided that I could also add something of my own to the XJ world. 

Next thing I knew I was posting my first video in October 2023. Which was the birth of Wrenches to Adventures!
